are you smarter than a CTY student?

so, the answer to the above mentioned question is most definitely NO. I mean, luckily, in the class i teach i am, but there are daily trivia questions, and i have only gotten 2 right out of 8. i knew that a tick wasn't an insect, and i got the math problem correct. im not feeling very good about myself. i need to learn more about lots of things, clearly. by the way, i just learned from one of my students that if you dress like a cow on friday and go to chik-fil-a, you get a free meal. if you wear a cow hat, purse or scarf only, you just get a free sandwich. i think a field trip is in order. anyhow, i had a great weekend spent in NYC. Saturday was gorgeous...even though it turned out to be a little warm in the afternoon. i enjoyed a long walk in the park, trip to the top of Rockefeller center, madame tussauds and shopping, etc. my parents are coming this weekend to visit and im actually excited to see them and show them around nyc. I absolutely am IN LOVE with that city. I wish i was moving there, but it wasn't meant to be this year. its nice being close enough to visit even though the weather here compared to PAL is terrible. It has been over 100 degrees for two days, and it was 99 the day before. tomorrow it is supposed to cool down to 90!!!! holy moly, i can hardly wait. okay more later. travel adventures with pictures to be posted later tonight.aformerblonde. thistimewithbangs.
